The Economy is Ready - Now is the Time to Buy

With all of the "doom and gloom" that we are hearing about in the economy much of the capital spending has dried up. Many businesses and home-owners have deferred spending on their new building projects. However, as we start to "bottom out" there are great opportunities for these individuals and businesses alike to get great deals on their capital projects.

Metal buildings have dropped in price considerably because of the reduction in steel pricing. Add to this the fact that some of the steel building manufacturers are trying to jump-start their businesses again by reducing the manufacturing cost. This combination makes for a very buyer-friendly market.

Now these reductions may entice people to jump at the lower initial cost of the metal buildings but there's even more.

Interest rates are in some cases at all-time lows. Loans and mortgages in the past have cost purchasers as much as 15% and more. Imagine now that you can get a 3% or 4% mortgage for that same building. That's a 10% decrease in interest payments. Now that's a great deal!

If you were looking at a steel building purchase of say $100,00.00 (for easy calculations) at even 10%, your simple interest payments would be 10,000.00 per year or about $833.00 per month - just for the interest.

In today's market, that same building may cost $92,000.00 at perhaps 3.5%. In this case, your simple interest payment would be $3,220.00 per year or about $268.00 per month. That's a decrease of about $565.00 per month for the interest portion alone. The principle payment would be reduced as well making for very palatable building purchase terms.

I don't know about you, but I am getting tired of all of the negativity regarding the economy that we are hearing about. Don't get me wrong... I understand that there are real problems with the loss of jobs (me included). But I think it's time for us to move forward with the opportunities that are presenting themselves and start building a new future for ourselves, our families and our businesses.
